Our Classes

  • Personalized Focus

We don't just put 20 students in a Zoom call. We believe in keeping student-to-instructor ratios low and opportunities for one-on-one engagement high. Our instructors conduct regular individual check-ins with each student to ensure every student is getting the most out of our classes and no one is left behind.

  • Flexible Scheduling

At Apollo, we know everyone’s schedule is different. We set class times based on your personal availability by pairing students with shared free time into the same class. Simply click sign up, fill out your preferred class time, and we’ll build a class that works for you.

  • Weekly Instruction

All of our classes have 10-week curricula made up of weekly one-hour classes and exciting outside-of-class activities. Students have the opportunity to sign up for additional one-on-one masterclasses to supplement their curricular learning.

  • Interactive Learning

At Apollo, we value student engagement first. We guarantee that at least half of class time is spent on interactive practice. We believe learning shouldn’t end after class time. We provide ambitious students with outside-of-class activities meant to help them practice public speaking and take their learning to the next level

Fundamentals of Public Speaking

  • Apollo’s Fundamentals of Public Speaking (FPS) class is the first step in preparing students with little-to-no experience for excellence in public speaking and competitive debate.

The curriculum starts with the absolute fundamentals of public speaking and rhetoric, moves to strategic argumentation, and ends with a brief introduction to competitive, Public Forum Debate. At the end of our class, students have the opportunity to participate in real Public Forum Debate rounds, receiving feedback and coaching from national champions.

Graduates of FPS are well-prepared to dive into more advanced instruction at our Introduction to Competitive Debate class and to succeed as capable, persuasive speakers in school and beyond.
