Debate Deep: We don't give provide
you a position, we give you the
round.
It's not about overwhelming you with materials. It’s about providing support that’s developed with clarity and direction.
Thursday Briefing
Every Thursday, by 5 p.m. Eastern Time, Apollo will distribute a weekly news briefing to subscribers. The brief will include original source material along with analysis of the implications and applications for extemporaneous speaking. After a few weeks of receiving our briefings in your inbox you may start to feel very Presidential.
Email Support
For both Extemporaneous Speaking and Original Oratory, subscribers are encouraged to email questions to the Apollo staff. While we aren’t able to provide you with specific introductions, content or detailed revisions of your oratory, we welcome questions on a variety of subjects, including technique, delivery, and general speech structure. All questions will be answered within 24 hours.

Economics/Government
A deep and diverse comprehension of economics and U.S. government is critical to the success of any forensic student, especially those competing in extemporaneous speaking. Unfortunately, most students don’t take classes on these subjects until their senior year. With this in mind, Apollo Debate offers the following instructional books, available with all subscription packages:
An Introduction to Economics
This book will be an introduction to economic concepts and theories that will give forensics students of all experience levels much needed information to be able to debate a host of economic arguments deeper.
An Introduction to Government
This book will be an introduction guide to government that will allow forensic students to learn the basics of American politics and government so that they will have a base of knowledge in order to debate deeper and more effectively.
A Note to Coaches:
All Apollo Packages are also distributed with An X’s And O’s Guide to Coaching. The book discusses specific issues and concerns in coaching and team management for all our covered events: Cross Examination Debate, Lincoln-Douglas Debate, Original Oratory, and Extemporaneous Speaking.
